Strawberry salsa

This sal­sa is a very refres­hing deli­ca­cy that is a suc­cessful com­bi­na­ti­on of sweet and savo­ry fla­vors. It tas­tes deli­cious on its own as a snack, with a green salad, as a fil­ling for pep­per hal­ves or on cucum­ber slices.

Ingre­di­ents for one serving: 

  • 300g crus­hed strawberries
  • 35g fine­ly chop­ped red or white onions 
  • 2 tab­les­poons fresh chop­ped jala­pe­ño chiles
  • 15g chop­ped cori­an­der leaves
  • 2 tbsp fresh­ly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 tbsp honey, if desired
  • 1/2 tsp Gar­lic powder
  • 1 tsp Atlan­tic Dul­se flakes

Pre­pa­ra­ti­on:

Com­bi­ne straw­ber­ries, oni­ons, jala­pe­ño, cil­an­tro, lime juice, honey (if desi­red), gar­lic pow­der, and dul­se in a bowl. 

Cover the bowl and place it in the ref­ri­ge­ra­tor to mari­na­te for 20 to 25 minutes.
